HGC2-PColt SAA .45 cal. 7 ½” U.S. marked #86XXX D.F.C. inspected and marked on the butt U.S.I.D. (U.S. Interior Dept.). As were all the Indian Police issue guns these were nickeled, with most of finish remaining. All markings visible except for bbl. Address which is faint. One piece wood grips with no cartouche visible. See Kopecs book on the study of the nickeled Indian guns…only one other known marked Interior Dept…a very rare gun… $12500.00
HGC315Colt 1860 Army .44 cal revolver..#93XXX all matching with 30% original blue. Has complete U.S. black leather rig with cartridge box and sword hanger. Brass US buckle. HGC49-PColt Derringers .22 cal. matching pair of Blued Colts with Sammy Davis Jr.” name engraved on each side of barrel. These were in the estate sold by Butterfield Auction House in 1991.
